Back to the Burg

Well I am back in good ole Lynchburg! Settling back in for a 17 day stretch til Christmas Break! Although I am not thrilled to be back, I am thankful that break is so close. My break at home was wonderful. I got to see and be with my favorite people and do some of my favorite things. 

 It was just what I needed to get me through the end of the semester. Liberty gives us such a long break, that it really helps gives us all an extra boost. While I miss my family already, I know that Christmas Break is near  and it will be amazing! For now, I have to get back to watching Elf & studying Biology!

Rainboots Galore!

It is no secret that I loveeee rainboots! Once I started school in Lynchburg, I realized the need for them especially. It rains atleast 3 times a week there & is known to rain more than Seattle! Catch my drift? The fall after I started college there, I picked my Tory Burch rainboots up and they are my main go-to rain shoe! I do have a pair of the Sperry rain-shoe which I also love. Which pairs do you all like?

What I'm Watching

I have seen over the bloggersphere a lot of posts about people are watching on Netflix. Is it too late for me to join this party?

I love Netflix.

I love Hulu Plus.

I have both and constantly feed my TV addiction.

Just kidding, I'm not addicted to TV, but am to a few shows!! Here's ten! (okay i'm addicted to tv)

1. REVENGE! All caps are necessary. My best friend had told me to watch this show for a solid 9 months before I finally did...cue my love for Hulu Plus. I am behind on this season, but plan on catching up over break!

2. Rules of Engagement! I just watched this series on Netflix, and am now excited for the mid-season premiere coming up! If you like to laugh, you should watch this show. The first couple episodes are slightly slow, but it's worth it!

3. Nashville! My parents, myself, my aunt, my cousins...WE ALL LOVE THIS SHOW! I cannot even tell you what it is that we love so much about it, but it keeps us watching from week to week.

4. Grey's Anatomy...any Grey's fans out there? I have to tell you, I am hating this season! I think that this show has started to wear off its welcome in the TV world. Butttt..the past seasons have been amazing, so I guess they can have one off season!

5. The City. Ok, ok..I realize I am a solid two years late on this one....now cue my love for Netflix. I have been watching this the past couple weeks strictly cause I love reality TV and these girls fashion!

6. The Voice. I love this so much more than any of the other singing competitions. If you're wondering if Adam Levine has anything to do with this, then you are 100% correct.

7. Parenthood. Started watching this last summer on Netflix and got hooked! A solid family show, that brings out tears from me every single week.

8. Hart of Dixie...I just love it and that's all I have to say about it.

9. Gossip Girl. Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass...need I say more? Between Chuck's good looks and Blairs fashion sense, I am completely obsessed.

10. Friends. I love it. My mom & I will watch the old episodes at night sometimes and just laugh and laugh. On that note...I probably need all the seasons don't I?

Thankful Friday part 3 (a little late)

1. Thanksgiving Break...I am on my ten day break and I cannot begin to explain my excitement. Family time, sleeping in, mom's cooking, and time with friends are what I am most looking forward too.

2. My professors! Liberty is naturally going to have some great teachers, due to it being a Christian school, but there is no guarantee. Excluding one...I have the best teachers this semester and that is definitely something to be thankful for.

3. Skype. This week especially I am thankful for the ability to skype my parents. I had a huge floor plan design project yesterday and was panicked all week long. My dad and I worked on it via skype for a while Tuesday night!

4. My church & church family!

5. Friends. I know I incorporate this every week, but it just means that much to me. 

6. My mom and I's relationship. She's the older, funnier, and classier version of myself. She is the first person I call when I need someone. She keeps me laughing and always has made me feel very special.

7. Couldn't leave my dad out could I? I am so thankful for the relationship I have with my dad. I tell him everything and wouldn't have it any other way. Parent Trap, car rides, and burgers are some of the things we always like to do together. 

8. Medicine.

9. The school I went to from 1st-12th! I went back today to do an errand of sorts and fell right back in love with my old school. It will always be the place that brought me my best friends and memories. It will always be home. 

10. Finally, this week I am thankful for memories! This week some of my friends and myself went on a reminiscing kick via Twitter. I was crying from laughing so hard at the memories my friends were sharing from elementary school til now. 

iPhone 5 Loves

It's Thanksgiving break! I came home to North Carolina to find a nice, new iPhone 5 waiting for me! I am excited, because my iPhone 4 has about had it. I'm looking forward to new features and new look, but will miss aspects of my old phone, likes its charger! 

Here are a couple things from J.Crew & Tory Burch that I'm loving when it comes to the iPhone 5. Have any of you seen the J.Crew backup charger? I'm going to try and stop by and pick up one while I'm home on break, because that will definitely come in handy! 

What cases do you like? Any other places I should look?
