Am I the only one who is loving these new MK watches?

Not to mention, I love ALL these colors!

I really like that navy for days I don't want to be dressy with my Michele watch or my regular MK watches!

I was browsing through Rebecca's blog over at "Life with rMe" and noticed a post on the J.Crew sale. I decided to go check it out and ended up picking up a couple items!

I adore these bermudas! They ended up being only $20! 

I didn't pick up the last three items, but am really considering going back for the pink top! It is just so pretty to me! I love the bermudas, but have a pair of navy already! The striped top is just so fun with that pop of color!

Tuesday's Menu

One thing you may not know about me...I LOVE to cook! I cook every Monday for my friends! We tend to sit around, catch up, eat, and eventually watch the Bachelor (go Lindsey/Ashlee!)

Last night's menu:

Grilled BBQ Chicken

Mac & Cheese

Green Beans

Garlic Herb Biscuits (Red Lobster recipe)

Leftover Strawberries & Chocolate

How I turned it into a two night event:

Grilled some extra chicken and put it in the fridge afterwards

Left some extra dough covered in the fridge

I have just taken the second batch of biscuits out of the oven! Just as good the second time (:

I steamed some carrots, added honey, butter, and a tsp of sugar! It is more like a dessert if you ask me.

I am going to make some white rice & am marinating the chicken in BBQ/Ranch sauce to heat up in the saucepan.

Tonight I am just cooking for myself, so it is easy to have leftovers for the rest of the week! I'll probably snack on some of that tomorrow for lunch!

BBQ chicken has become my go to dish. Butttt...I also love to grill up chicken and through some italian dressing on top for a lighter dish!

Every Monday Could Use A Few Giggles

Disclaimer: We are taking a break from fashion today. Now, let's laugh a little. 

Ok bloggers, I don't know about you, but often times Mondays....are not my favorite day of the week.

Either I am rush from NC to VA, or I am having a "I just wanna stay in bed all day and have the weekend start over." Pinterest humor section. Gets me feeling better every single time.

If you have seen "Pitch Perfect" you understand this...if not, go watch the movie!

If you watch Duck Dynasty, you know that laughs are just a given. I laugh hysterically with my little cousins on days I babysit him.

Guest Blogging!

Hey y’all! My name is Kendall and me and my best friend Annie run our blog Southern Obsession! This is both are first time writing a guest blog so hang in there if things get a little rocky! We wanted to keep this post simple, and what better way to do that then share some of our favorite simple pleasures! Ok but before we start, I always have to have a face with a name so here is a picture of Annie (in the red) and I (in the black)

So the first thing that never fails to make me feel happy is some new make up brushes! Both of these are from Sonia Kashuk's Target collection! She always has cute brush collections and have the same quality as the $30 ones from Sephora, so if you are in need of some, I highly suggest checking these out!

The next item on the list are these Lily and Laura Bracelets! Their price ranges depending where you buy them but I have never seen one for more then $8 per bracelet! I think they really can add some pop to any outfit

Here is how I wear some of mine, with my fav watch!

This next one isn't something you can buy, but you can defiantly do it! Lately I have been OBSESSED with braiding peoples hair! I will do a fish tail braid, french braid, waterfall braid, really the list just goes on and on! Here is a picture of a girl's hair I fishtailed yesterday at school, it is almost therapeutic and defiantly keeps my hands busy!

Something that gives you a little burst of joy doesn't have to be crazy pricey! Take this fish me and Annie bought one day during our lunch break at school for $3! We just walked to the local Pet-Co and bought our Veil Tail Male Beta Fish! Man, we loved that little fish, unfortuantly he did not last too long :(
